Privacy Policy
Drafted as a foundation for this page. This is not legal advice — please have a solicitor review before relying on it, to confirm it matches Livingston Collective's actual data practices and current UK GDPR and PECR requirements.
Who we are
Livingston Collective ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@livingstoncollective.co.uk.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), the category that best describes you, and the content of your message, when you submit our contact form.
- Information collected automatically: standard technical and usage data (such as pages viewed and approximate location) through analytics cookies, only once you have given consent.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry: necessary for our legitimate interest in dealing with enquiries, or to take steps ahead of any agreement at your request.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it: based on your consent to analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet our legal and safeguarding obligations, where relevant.
Sharing your information
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us run the site, email and CRM systems, under appropriate confidentiality and data processing terms. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
Safeguarding and young people
This website is not directed at children. If your enquiry relates to a young player, we ask that it is submitted by a parent or guardian using their own contact details, not the young person's. Any such enquiry is handled with the additional care set out in our safeguarding framework.
International transfers
Where possible, your data is stored and processed in the UK or the European Economic Area. Where a service provider is based elsewhere, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and any follow-up, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to our processing, to ask for your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@livingstoncollective.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you have concerns about how your data is handled.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site, and analytics cookies only with your consent, managed through a cookie banner on first visit. You can change your preferences at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the most recent update will appear at the foot of this page, and we will highlight any material changes.
